We recently bought a home in Chicago Little Village that actually was in pretty good shape but was left vacant for a couple months.
The kitchen was updated and appliances were there. Floors were sanded and was freshly painted.
The only challenge was that it survived the hot temperatures over the summer and somehow a couple fleas got inside 🙁
And when a couple fleas get in, a ton more always follow!
When we initially walked it, honestly I was just hoping there were no pets left inside the home.
They can cause havoc on cats and dogs as they latch on and suck the blood of the host and can transmit disease. We called the exterminator and within a couple of days, we defeated the annoying insects.
Anyway, I write that to remind you, that house was in amazing condition but just vacant for a couple months and all ready it got infested.
