Wanted to send you a quick note regarding a property we just purchased in Bolingbrook IL. Seller lived in Wisconsin. This was her mothers condo for years.
I think the mother lived there for 30 years. That’s a long time and a lot of possessions.
It was a sad story, but the mother died with some health issues.
2 weeks later, the daughter contacted us on this site to see if we can help.
Its really sad because the seller was still emotional about her mom passing and it made our team emotional.

The seller didn’t want to go back and forth moving boxes and furniture out of the condo. We discussed a price that would work for both of us, including us trashing it out and removing the old furniture, boxes, and other belongings the daughter did not. She did take the important documents and other clothes and garments she wanted. I told her, “take what you need, leave behind what you don’t want.”
She was thrilled. She did not want to be in that condo too long because it was just stressful, with the memories of her mother. That’s tough.
We ran into a couple of snags with the association (they’re tough to deal with sometimes) I think they didn’t like the noise our movers made 🙁
Anyway, we got it all figured out and closed within 3 weeks cash as is. Total of 5 weeks elapsed since her mom died. She just wanted it done quickly.
